Sum-frequency generation in the XUV

Abstract.

The influence of the non-linear part of the wave-vector mismatch ΔkNL on the sum frequency generation in a hollow core waveguide is analyzed. According to the value and sign of the respective non-linear susceptibilities, considerable deviation in the signal Ps on the pump powers P1 and P2 can be induced, compared to the case when the linear part ΔkL is considered only. Non-linear schemes are proposed for X-ray ultraviolet XUV-generation near 60 nm.
